Blast and Cast for Wellness for Veterans 2024 (Fishing and duck hunting in Texas - REGISTRATION OPEN)

We were blessed to have Baffin Bay Rod and Gun Lodge donate their facilities for this special four-day adventure therapy trip: Blast and Cast for Wellness. On January 26-28, 2024 in Riviera, Texas, we are taking a group of veterans and first responders duck hunting, fishing, and practice raising their Emotional Intelligence.

In these retreats, attendees are required to pay for their own travel, and must acquire current hunting and fishing licenses. Lodging and food is provided. This is a sober retreat.

 
 

Youth Initiative 2024 for 13-17 year olds (Registration OPEN)

Level 1 (ages 11-14): As we hike and drift down the river in Northwest Montana, we will share insight about land navigations, water navigation, survival skills, confidence in decision making (EQ) and fly fishing fundamentals.

Level 2 (ages 13-16): involves hiking with llamas, in which attendees will experience caring for pack animals, wilderness awareness, and establishing confidence in decision making.

These trips are led by Sean Patrick (LCPC + Licensed Guide).

During the fall hunting season, our team takes a group of Veterans to a special location in Eastern Montana.
