Sean Patrick, Founder and President
Sean Patrick is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC) and licensed outdoor guide in Montana. Sean has worked with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents and young adults from many cultural backgrounds and from all walks of life and is now including first responders and veterans to his focus.
Sean is a suicide survivor and recovering alcoholic with 10 years of sobriety under his belt. This has impacted her personal view of human potential, change, and finding a fulfilling life. While living on the east coast after graduate school, Sean worked for a few different outreach agencies. Sean worked with his clients to build or restore vocational and daily living skills, as well as general independence, for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. After feeling a calling to the mountains, Sean moved to Montana to work at a therapeutic boarding school. This is where he was exposed to the adages of using his love of the outdoors to help enrich the therapeutic process. It was during therapeutic outdoor excursions with the school where Sean witnessed the majority of growth within his assigned group. His private clinical therapy practice blends Clinical Behavioral Therapy and Adventure Therapy, and he is now providing his services to the non profit Evoke Changes Outdoors in order to share this type of therapy with First Responders and Veterans.
Sean has been an outdoor enthusiast for over 30 years. With his years of outdoor experience, Sean recognizes and appreciates the invigorating and rejuvenating feelings that come with having a meaningful outdoor adventure. Sean offers unique individual or group experience with a professional who can show you how to connect with nature like you have never imagined. He will empower you to grow from the experiences. Using the experience of nature as a basic tool, he teaches life lessons that can be used and applied in daily life, for the rest of your life.

Doug Hutchinson, Treasurer
Doug is a veteran with a passion for veterans. A life long love of the outdoors started at an early age and developed through a very active Boy Scouts of America Troop culminating in Eagle Scout and several high adventure camps. After serving as a US Navy SEAL in the 90's Doug returned to college graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership and Management. Having observed the pain of lost team mates through both casualties and suicides, the negative impact of PTSD to all veterans and families is of acute interest.
Michael “Kimmy” Kimmerling, Archery Consultant
Michael started rifle hunting when he was 10, and bow hunting when he was 14. Hunting and fishing became a huge part of his life and upbringing. A few months after graduating in 2006, Michael enlisted into the Marine Corps. After graduating MCRD San Diego, he was off to the School of Infantry where he was awarded as Honor Graduate as Top Machine Gunner of his class. They assigned him to 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines known as the “Warlords.” Within that same year, he was sent on his first deployment to Rahwa, Iraq in 2008 as a machine gunner. By his second deployment, Michael had been assigned as Machine Gun Section Leader of an 18-man section in Afghanistan 2009/2010. He began to grow respect and admiration for the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) field, and decided to laterally move into the EOD career field. 2011 was spent learning the trade and by 2012 Michael was on his 3rd deployment back to Afghanistan. At the end of his 3rd deployment, he was awarded a Navy Achievement Medal with Valor.
By the end of his 4th deployment, Michaels wife Cassie was one week away from delivering their first child Thomas. He was made the Future Operations Chief at 1st EOD Co, and worked with Special Training Units to build pre-deployment training packages for multiple unites specializing in various operations across the world. Life began to slow down so Michael took up archery and hunting again. Archery began taking a bigger role in his life, as it helped him cope with experiences he had in war. It became a type of therapy for Michael and he was hooked. In 2016, Michael was put on medical evaluation because of the beating his body took over the 4 deployments. He felt it was time to move on from the Marine Corps, and was hired by Dept. of Homeland Security as an Explosive Specialist. He used his years of experience to teach federal and local agencies in counter IED tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Now, he shares his love of archery by helping and teaching wounded veterans and children. Michael claims that archery has helped him focus and calm some of his inner demons, providing purpose and fulfillment. It has become an avenue for goals and competitive edge.
